MONDAY 16 NOVEMBER 2015


10.00 am:

1. ADOPTION OF PROPOSED PROGRAMME OF BUSINESS AND BRIEF
INTRODUCTORY COMMENTS BY CO-CHAIRS

At 10.15 am

3. ADDRESS BY BEN WALLACE MP PERMANENT UNDER-SECRETARY OF STATE FOR NORTHERN IRELAND

Ben Wallace MP will address the Assembly and respond to questions.  

At 11.00 am

4. HORSE RACING IN BRITAIN AND IRELAND: PANEL DISCUSSION

Brian Kavanagh, Chief Executive of Horseracing Ireland, and Nick Rust, Chief Executive of the British Horseracing Authority, will address the Assembly and respond to questions.

At 12.00 am

5. ADDRESS BY THE MINISTER FOR EUROPE

Rt Hon David Lidington MP, Minister of State, Foreign and Commonwealth Office, will address the Assembly and respond to questions.

The sitting will be suspended from 1.00 pm to 2.30 pm.
 
At 2.30 pm

5. POLICING NORTH AND SOUTH


George Hamilton QPM, Chief Constable of Northern Ireland, PSNI, and Nóirín O'Sullivan, Commissioner of An Garda Síochána, will give a joint presentation to the Assembly and respond to questions.


At 3.30 pm

6. IRELAND, THE UK AND THE EUROPEAN UNION


Dominic Hannigan TD, Chair of the Oireachtas Joint Committee on EU Affairs, will address the Assembly on his Committee's report on "UK/EU Future Relationship: Implications for Ireland"and respond to questions.

There will follow a political debate on issues following the UK referendum on its membership of the EU.

At 9.30 am: Meeting in public

7. RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE CROWN DEPENDENCIES AND THE UK

There will be a short presentation on behalf of the three Crown Dependencies (Guernsey, Jersey and the Isle of Man), followed by questions.
