British Irish Parliamentary Assembly expresses condolences following attacks in Paris

Laurence Robertson MP and Frank Feighan TD, Co-Chairs of the British Irish Parliamentary Assembly, in opening the 51st Plenary in Cheltenham this morning, said: “On behalf of the members of the British Irish Parliamentary Assembly, we are united in expressing our deepest sympathies and in condemning the recent attacks in Paris.”
“Our hearts go out to all those bereaved, their families and friends. These terrible events only serve to unite us with each other and with the people of France at this dark time.”
