The Assembly consists of:
- 25 Members from each sovereign Parliament
- five each from the Scottish Parliament, Senedd Cymru and the Northern Ireland Assembly
- one each from the High Court of Tynwald and from each of the States of Guernsey and of Jersey
There are also:
- 20 Associate Members from each sovereign Parliament
- four each from the Scottish Parliament, Senedd Cymru and Northern Ireland Assembly,
- one each from the High Court of Tynwald and from each of the States of Guernsey and of Jersey
Associate Members attend Assembly plenary sittings and committees in place of any Member who is unable to attend.
Members and Associates are nominated to serve on the Assembly in accordance with the procedures established by their institution.
